Refined model scope
The model must cover template revisions, stable function/unit/context addresses, lazily materialized containers, bindings, messages, participants, attachment/evidence refs, delivery attempts/idempotency, routing/copy links, read/ack state, access events, classification, retention/hold state, and future encryption metadata. Organization and IDM facts are referenced by stable typed ids and delivery-time snapshots; they are not copied into a second directory model.
Keep current access separate from historical evidence and make vacancy, retirement, withdrawal, deletion, and retention destruction distinct states. Parent user story: #16; template slice: #17.
Codex State: progress
The Postbox-owned baseline now models templates and immutable revisions, stable addresses, containers, bindings, messages, participants, attachment/evidence references, idempotent deliveries, route snapshots, personal receipts, groupings, and access events. Encryption/key-epoch, expiry, withdrawal, retention, and routing fields are reserved without claiming unsupported behavior. Migration round-trip coverage passes. Close after push.
