Focused tests now cover direct access grant/revocation, acting-context selection, vacancy, deterministic template materialization, immutable revisions, idempotent delivery, personal receipts, notification/event deduplication, tenant-safe API round trips, migrations, and hidden grouping-source retention. The broader inactive-function, reassignment, and policy matrix remains open.

Close-out audit, 2026-07-31

The test matrix has grown to 24 passing backend tests plus the WebUI structure test. It now covers access rule ordering, direct/delegated/acting sources, vacancy, assignment removal, tenant isolation, idempotent delivery, immutable route evidence, hierarchy cycles/deduplication, delayed vacancy escalation, and source-preserving grouping.

Remaining focused cases are function/unit deactivation, reassignment between incumbents, delegated-source expiry using the real IDM directory, and classification-policy transitions. Complete those alongside #3, then close this issue and the Postbox P1 milestone.

The 31-test backend matrix now includes real SQL Identity/IDM/Organizations directory transitions for incumbent reassignment, delegated assignment expiry, function deactivation, unit deactivation, and function reassignment, plus classification-policy transitions. Existing vacancy, acting context, tenant isolation, idempotency, hierarchy, and evidence cases remain covered.

Completed in 0b6ebc3. The 31-test backend matrix now includes real SQL Identity/IDM/Organizations directory transitions for incumbent reassignment, delegated assignment expiry, function deactivation, unit deactivation, and function reassignment, plus classification-policy transitions. Existing vacancy, acting context, tenant isolation, idempotency, hierarchy, and evidence cases remain covered.
